Delete your account

You can delete your Me2Us4U account and the data in it yourself, any time. It covers Aura AI Studio and every other Me2Us4U app, because they share one account.

How to delete it

In the Aura app: open Settings, then Delete my account, and confirm with your password.
On the website: sign in at me2us4u.com/settings, scroll to Delete account, and confirm with your password.
Can't sign in? Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen first, or email support@me2us4u.com from the address on your account and we will help.

What happens next

14-day grace period. Your account is scheduled for deletion straight away, but nothing is erased for 14 days. In that time, signing in shows a banner with a Cancel deletion button, and your account carries on as before.
Then it is erased, automatically. No one has to approve it and there is nothing more you need to do.
Before you start, you can download a copy of your data from the same screen.

What is erased, and what is kept

Erased

Your name, email, phone number and profile details
Your profile photo
Your Aura chats, uploaded file text and generated pictures
Family & friends connections you made
Your consents, settings and sign-in details
Any unused credits (these cannot be recovered)

Kept

Payment and invoice records, because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. They are no longer linked to you, and hold no name, email or phone number.
Records of purchases made through Google Play, kept by Google and by our subscription provider under their own policies.

Good to know

Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play — cancel it in Google Play first so you are not charged again.
VaultGate communities. If you created or manage a VaultGate community, close it or hand it over first. We cannot delete an account that still owns one, and we will tell you when you try.
